Dakar Rally 2015 on My Life at Speed

It was my privilege to cover the Dakar Rally exclusively for My Life at Speed again this year. The course was a loop from Argentina to Chile to Bolivia and then back to Argentina. There were also marathon stages for all the classes which means they had to spend a night on their own without any help from their technical crews. The bike and quad riders had to do that twice! Despite how crazy it sounds, I felt like my spirit was in South America for two weeks. Someday I hope God allows me the pleasure of seeing this race in person; but in the meantime there is the power of the internet and satellite connections to keep up with the incredible people who compete again and again.
