Fitness Revolution: Day 10

Tonight’s workout was tough, tough, tough! I argued with myself when it came time to increase the speed to 4.0. “I want the push!” I said out loud and made it happen. Interesting thing was after a short while I wanted to go beyond the fourth minute but held back. Just because I pushed the envelope tonight doesn’t mean that I could do it tomorrow. My sister put a little speaker system for our iPods next to the treadmill so we can be wireless. It’s more freeing than I ever imagined. Yay Carol! The pain in my legs got pretty intense and I stopped once to massage my calves. Despite the battle, my stats are crawling upwards and that only feeds the fire to push even harder. I’m plugging the figures into an Excel spreadsheet and will soon post a graph showing progress. No retreat, no surrender and no excuses!
