To say that this was a tough workout would be an understatement. It was superlatively difficult. Every fibre of my being wanted to crawl under cozy covers and sleep, but no! I had to get back to the grind and completing tonight’s entire thirty-five minute session, with a full five minutes of running was a victory in itself. My arms are getting a workout, too. As if I enjoy having upper arms looking like ham-legs? I’m using the digital clock on the treadmill to good use and putting in continuous minutes of reps. A minute of jabs, a minute of uppercuts – get the picture? Wearily, I trekked upstairs afterwards to get the Absorbine Jr. and applied it generously to my calves. It worked well although you could smell me before seeing me for a while. Two days rest was two too many. I’m done with that and playing around anymore. No retreat, no surrender and no excuses!
