Fitness Revolution: Day 24

It’s been a good day for the revolution.  The workout always seemed to lack balance but after some experimentation, I think I’ve found a speed schedule that feels challenging but not damaging.  Most of the workout is now in ten-minute sections.  I did not intend to run tonight but couldn’t resist squeezing in 2.5 minutes at 4.5.

Imagine that the hardest part wasn’t running at 4.5 but brisk walking at 3.5. It was murder. I was dripping with sweat.  Even my forearms were wet and that hasn’t happened since my kickboxing days.  After the session, I did fifty crunches then some stretches. Unfortunately some discomfort is a good sign in getting fit and I’m walking slowly tonight. No retreat, no surrender and no excuses!
