Fitness Revolution: Day 36

Talk about working into the night. This session was very late but I refused to skip just because it was after 11:00 pm EST. No more two-day breaks for me. It’s interesting that the speed of 2.5 is feeling a little slow now but I’m wary of starting the workout at 3.0. I’ll keep starting at 2.5 for the next few days. If it still feels slow, I’ll try starting the session at 3.0. The treadmill portion went well with only a brief interruption at the twelfth minute to change the speaker’s batteries. The music had become far too faint to hear.

Three sets of arm movements were completed and a bit less strenuous. I really do miss boxing and these movements will help me get back to fighting fitness. I tried to stretch a bit more for the abdominal exercises. It was hard because they hadn’t been worked in so long. Despite the mild discomfort, the crunches were done and the push-ups too. I’m very aware of potential muscle aches in my back but have a secret weapon – my sister. If I’m in any pain tomorrow, she’s going to massage it away. Nothing’s stopping this revolution. No retreat, no surrender and no excuses!
