Fitness Revolution: Day 46

Today was a bit tough. There’s been so much to do and so little time but no way I was skipping the work out. The treadmill session started off at a speed of 3.0 and felt great. Fifteen minutes at 3.5 was a bit trying but when I first started, five minutes was almost too much. It was good to take longer breaks between arm movements. I look forward to when starting at 3.0 will feel too slow.

There was temptation to rush the abdominal exercises but it was no more than that. The second set of crunches caused me to dig down deep but that was well worth it. Stretching between reps helps a lot. Similarly, the second set of push-ups had me growling. The push-up bars are fulfilling expectations. Over forty days so far and I’m feeling stronger than I have in a long time. The next step is to work hand weights into the treadmill session. No retreat, no surrender and no excuses!
