Fitness Revolution: Day 78

Today was cold but that didn’t stop me and there was a full workout.  Stretches were followed by the jump rope then it was on to the treadmill.  I’m happy to report that the pain my inner thigh pain is completely gone.  It felt good to stretch and not wince.  If you’ve been following the stats, you’ll see that they’ve plateaued and that’s got to change.  So from tomorrow, I’m going to try an incline of 0.5.  That’s the lowest level and if it goes swimmingly, I’ll increase it to 1.0.  The current setting of 3.0 is good because I can do the arm movements without feeling fatigued or off-balanced.

Chicken soup

It was weird that I didn’t sweat.  In fact, I only got warm – not even hot!  Despite that, I still completed the floor exercises with the epic century of crunches and twenty push-ups.  Right now, my fear is bulking up instead of slimming down.  The goal is to get fit but smallness comes with that.  My sister blessed us with a huge pot of chicken soup.  As I’ve said before, it does wonders for us.  Anything to curb the temptation to snack or eat heavily is a Godsend.  No retreat, no surrender and no excuses!
