My Fitness Revolution: Day 108

Bruised knee or not, I was determined to get on the treadmill tonight.  I rested it and indeed, there was little or no pain.  However, it’s suddenly become quite cold in Central Florida and that threatened to put a damper on physical activity…but no.  The planned fifteen minutes became a full half-hour on the treadmill at an incline of 2.0.  Thanks to my iPod’s shuffle giving me a soca onslaught with Bunji, Kes and then Machel consecutively.  I also completed all the arm movements but afterwards, headed straight to the shower.  With a 100% increase in the incline level, I didn’t want to over-exert myself.  Indeed, I should have stretched more before because my left calf was feeling a bit tense for a short while.  That wore off quickly; but, overall it was great to get moving and sweating again.  No retreat, no surrender and no excuses!
