My Fitness Revolution: Day 118

Woman with dumbellThis woman can go for only so long without a full workout.  It was quite warm for a while, so I seized the opportunity.  There were a few minutes with the weighted jump-rope, then a full half-hour on the treadmill with sixteen of those minutes, at a speed of 3.2.  Five different arm movements with hand and wrist weights were done, while on the treadmill.  I was sweating pretty hard when I started the floor exercises.  Twenty Trunk Rotations were followed by one hundred Quarter Crunches.  Then one hundred Twisting Crunches were done in reps of 20/20/5, left and right sides.  I didn’t rush these at all and was sure to hug my knees between each set.  The Halasana yoga pose was a bit difficult but that because I haven’t done it in a while.  Twenty modified Jack Knife exercises were also a bit tricky but not impossible.  Finally, there were only GI Jane push-ups bars.  My arms were feeling tense by then, so I didn’t push to do anymore.  No retreat, no surrender and no excuses!
