This may sound a bit silly but I almost can’t believe that I’ve made it this far. I’ve achieved a few goals and learned many lessons. Not only can I run 5km but I can do it in under an hour. Although I’ve kept no records, so far I’ve lost about twenty-five pounds. I comfortably wear that particular pair of jeans and have been able to resurrect some other clothes too. Perhaps it’s not a bad thing that my Latissimus Dorsi muscle still can’t handle too much work and definitely no arm circuits. I intend to walk every day because although it’s slow, at least I sweat which is better than nothing at all. I figure that everything should be back to normal in a few more days. It’s a pleasant change of pace albeit an unwanted one. No retreat, no surrender and no excuses!
