My Fitness Revolution: Days 177 to 182

Asics-Runner-1The past four days have been the most difficult.  I’ve cut back on my food intake, opting for smaller meals throughout the day with fruits.  On Days 179 and 181, I completed the whole Jane Fonda Beginner workout.  They didn’t break my body but there was definite need for Bio Freeze later in the first evening.  Miss Jane’s instructions are a bit confusing to me, but the videos on YouTube were a great help.  On Day 180 and 182, I completed Robert Ullrey’s C25K Week 1 podcast.  Interestingly enough, I coped a lot better on the treadmill than I did outdoors.  Perhaps it was because I didn’t have to worry about traffic or dogs; but I think it was because my speeds were kept consistent.  Running doesn’t come naturally to me, so I need help to maintain my pace.  The hardest part has been the muscle pains.  I’m not even tempted to take a rest day because one would turn into two days, three days, a week…and then I have to start all over again.  I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.  No retreat, no surrender and no excuses!
