My Fitness Revolution: Days 259 to 261

My run on Day 259 ended with a big achievement.  It was not only the greatest distance covered but also at my new maximum speed.  Even with ten minutes of walking, I still covered almost two and a half miles.  That’s just 0.6 miles off my target!  It’s also three laps of the outdoor circuit I used to run, that used to take me about half hour to cover two laps.  I’ve been using Biofreeze Pain Relieving Gel and haven’t had any pains in my shins.  Thank God!

Never Stop

The only blunder was that I forgot to do my arm exercises afterwards.  I’m not sure if I missed the weights or if it was just guilt.  Okay, definitely guilt.  Day 260 was a rest day because I don’t want to get carried away with all this envelope pushing and risk an injury.  That would be really disastrous.  On Day 261, I completed the usual non-run workouts: The Jane Fonda Workout Record (1982) and Arm Circuit with Holly Perkins with 5lb hand weights.  The arm circuit was rather difficult but I still managed to complete the whole routine.  Although I’m not at my ultimate fitness level as yet but feel closer to it than I have in ages.  I just need to maintain momentum.  No retreat, no surrender and no excuses!
