My Fitness Revolution: Days 262 to 265

The last two treadmill sessions have been quite a challenge.  The first one on Day 262 left me a bit fatigued because I didn’t drink nearly enough water that day, which always leads to a difficult workout.  I couldn’t even finish the Arm Circuit with Holly Perkins.  Despite that, I still maintained the speed of 4.5 mph and the twenty-five minute run.  I rested on Day 263 because I wasn’t so much tired as unmotivated.  The relaxation did me a world of good and I resumed physical activity the next day with the usual non-run workouts from Miss Jane Fonda and Miss Holly.  My sister recorded a video while I did the Relaxation routine.  I call it proof that thick girls can do yoga too.  (Ha!)  Jokes aside, those workouts used to take as much effort as the treadmill sessions; but now, they’re relatively easy, by comparison.

Of course it's hard...

On Day 265, I was determined to get my booty back into gear.  Well hydrated and with the pre-emptive strike against muscle stiffness made with Biofreeze Pain Relieving Gel, I endured one of the toughest runs on the treadmill.  My legs weren’t the problem.  My mentality was the problem.  I was sorely tempted to end the run after fifteen and then after twenty minutes for no reason whatsoever.  It took every ounce of willpower to maintain pace until the end.  My visage may have seemed composed but I was screaming at myself to complete the full twenty-five minutes.  Afterwards, my sister and I completed the Holly Perkins Arm Circuit, then hung out watching some of her other videos on YouTube via Xbox Live.  There’s hardly any soreness to speak of and a burst little blister on my left foot.  For all the psychological anguish, you’d think that after effects but thankfully there are none.  No retreat, no surrender and no excuses!
