I’ve been a good girl and rested up my sore back muscles. It looked as if Day 298 was going to be completely pain-free. This would have been wonderful because I was really sick of the activity restriction. Unfortunately the pain came back before the dawn of Day 299 and had me grabbing the painkillers. I took it easy for the rest of the day but couldn’t let the sun set without some kind of exercise. Running and weights were a definite no-no, so my only option was walking. I did two miles on the treadmill while listening to a talk podcast. It felt great to finally sweat and get my legs moving. Although running would have been better, there was discomfort in my back so I played it safe. Something is better than nothing, right? No retreat, no surrender and no excuses!
