My Fitness Revolution Days 302 to 307: a Whole Lot of Nothing

Thank God for small mercies as the mysterious neck pain has completely gone.  I can handle my suffering body parts one at a time; but after five days of attempted rest, my back muscle still hurts.  Not all the time, mind you.  There’ll be no pain whatsoever and I completed my daily tasks unhindered.  Then all of a sudden, I would see stars with Tweety Birds flying around.  I can’t remember the last time I consumed so many painkillers with so little relief.  In addition, I’ve been slathering on Biofreeze or the much-less smellier but slightly less-effective Arnica Gel.  However, even the longest rope has an end and I’ve had it up to here with this pain.

So, as of Day 307 I’m done with it.  I’ll keep rubbing liniment but it’s time for me to get this fitness revolution back in gear.  I hit the treadmill for just twenty minutes and run very, very little.  It wasn’t bad at all but I’m not going overboard or anything.  This September I have something special planned.  It’ll be almost completely different from what I’ve been doing.  Stay tuned for more details.  No retreat, no surrender and no excuses!
