Every Saturday I like to try out a new workout and this week it was Class Fitsugar’s Crossfit Tabata Workout: Squats and Push-Ups with Shirley Brown. I’ve wanted to try CrossFit for a while and quite frankly, chickened out on their CrossFit Full Body Workout because I’m pretty sure that I wouldn’t be able to walk without crying afterwards. That doesn’t mean I’ll never do it, but just not on Day 351. The workout didn’t happen until late in the night but went extremely well. It was invigorating and I’m definitely adding it to my weekly regime somewhere. I was pleasantly surprised that I kept up with the instruction and can’t wait to do it again. The Yoga Energizer workout from Holly Perkins’ Fitness 360 DVD closed off that night and week’s official fitness activities. There wasn’t much muscle soreness until the next day. Luckily, it was my designated rest day and when I tell my body to feel pain. Just kidding, I always feel the pain and have Biofreeze on hand at all times. No retreat, no surrender and no excuses!
