Scarfnado: A Storm of Scarves

Scarfnado: A Storm of Scarves

As you all know I’m a knitting enthusiast. Despite still learning the craft I’m very well…enthusiastic, which hopefully makes up for what I don’t know. While my right foot was healing and walking was limited, I got the ambitious idea to knit scarves for a couple of my friends for Christmas; in addition to a huge You Go, Girl! Scarf for my sister. As a result I ended up knitting like crazy (cah-razy!) but by God’s Grace managed to get them done. You’d think I moved on to another project by now, but I’m making one last scarf to surprise another friend who’s having a tough time dealing with this year’s bitter winter. Hers will be white and TARDIS blue. It’s a Whovian thing, guys. Here is what I used to make each of the Christmas scarves:

Scarfnado: Christmas Scarves

You Go, Girl! Scarf’s requirements: Loops & Threads acrylic Claret yarn and Lion Brand Yarn, Vanna’s Glamour Diamond yarn, size 11 US needles, all garter stitch only.

Despite the hectic knitfest associated with making them, I was really pleased with how they turned out and happy to make something with love for two of my sweeties. Surely I’ll learn more stitches this year and start my gift projects much earlier in the year. What do you think I should make next?
